Dakshin Maritime Services, established in 2007 in Singapore, are shipbrokers and shipping consultants. The company specializes in Sale & Purchase of existing ships, contracting of Newbuildings and conception & analysis of shipping projects. The company also assists in arranging project financing and period charters on a selective basis, preparation of market studies and vessel valuations.

Our core group of brokers are well rounded professionals with business degrees in Shipping or Finance, plus many years of S&P / Newbuilding experience in multinational shipbroking & shipowning firms and have excellent contacts worldwide. They are able to advise clients on a range related areas such as investment appraisal, identification & evaluation of business opportunities, techno-commercial evaluation, risk analysis etc.

Since establishment in 2007, the company has placed a number of newbuilding contracts with shipyards in Asia, and together with our affiliates, have concluded numerous S&P deals for Asian, Middle Eastern and European clients. We have been involved in the sale or purchase of tankers, bulkers, liner types, gas carriers, cruise vessels & even barges, and are geared to handle any type of ship.

We are a private company and maintain a low profile and work many deals off market. One of our strengths is the ability to maintain confidentiality, of both clients and the deals.
